Sugar Grove police reports

• A woman, 27, of the 700 block of Pembridge Place, Sugar Grove, told police on Aug. 30 that someone had burglarized a vehicle belonging to her father, of the same address, while it was parked at the home. Police said she reported that the vehicle was unlocked and her father was out of town at the time of the incident. The woman told police a GPS unit and some loose change was taken from the car. Someone also had used a can of spray paint that was in the car to damage the car’s interior, police said. Police believe the incident occurred during the overnight hours of Aug. 29 and 30.
