Face Time with Matthew Kaspar

Campton Hills resident Matthew Kaspar, 20, was working at Kernel’s Gourmet Popcorn in Geneva when he answered nine questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Al Lagattolla.

Where did you grow up? I grew up in Aurora.

Do you have any pets? Two cats, Gray and Zanie

What was your first job? Working at Michael’s Arts and Crafts, doing stocking

As a kid what want to be when you grew up? A cook

What do you want to be now? I want to work with computers. I’m about to enroll in community college.

Do you have a favorite charity? Fox Valley Special Recreation Association

What is your favorite local restaurant? Beef Shack

How long have you worked at Kernel’s? Three months

What’s the best thing about working at Kernel’s? The people. The people are really nice and friendly. We all get along. It’s like a family.
