Face Time with Linda Sullivan

Batavia resident Linda Sullivan was volunteering at the information booth for Art in Your Eye in Batavia when she answered 10 questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.  

Where did you grow up? River Grove

Pets? I have a granddog named Sofie, a bulldog for Batavia.

Who would play you in the movie of your life? Meryl Streep

First job? Office worker in a factory when I was in high school.

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A teacher, and I became a reading teacher. 

A movie or book you’d recommend? “Blue Jasmine” for the movie and “The Cutting Season” by Attica Locke

Favorite charity? Born to Read, It’s Never Too Early to Start! from the Association of Library Service to Children, a division of the American Library Association. It encourages expectant and new parents to read to their babies.

What game show would you be on? “Jeopardy!”

Favorite local restaurant? Tribella Bar and Grill in Batavia

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I did the Heimlich maneuver on my daughter when she was 6 years old. I did it, and a piece of hard candy came flying out.
