Holistic healing fair set in Geneva

GENEVA – The public is invited to the Fox Valley Holistic Health Celebration 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday outside at Soup to Nuts Alternative Grocery, 716 W. State St., Geneva. 

The event is free and features 80 area exhibitors offering a variety of holistic, organic and environmentally safe products and services. 

These include information about aromatherapy and essential oils, holistic parenting, the slow food movement, reiki and massage, green cleaning, yoga, martial arts and holistic medicine.

The event features free raffles and giveaways, including tote bags stuffed with coupons, samples and offers for the first 1,200 visitors.

Exhibitors include Inspired Quilts, South Dakota Crystals, Autumn Green Animal Hospital, reflexologists, Gungfu Fitness Center, Intention Beads, Nia and Movement Alchemy and Bhakti Balls – a vegan food option.

Free and discounted services include ionizing footbaths, reflexology, chair massage, Thai massage, reiki and animal totem readings.

In its fifth year, the event continues to try to provide the community with information about a variety of holistic health practitioners and services in one location.

The event starts with a Buddhist blessing and wraps up with live music by local bluegrass band Pritchard Harter.
