Elburn police reports

• A woman, of Elburn, who is affiliated with the Community Congregational United Church of Christ on Shannon Street, Elburn, told police on Tuesday, Sept. 24, that someone had shattered a 3-foot-by-5-foot window on the east side of the church building. Police said it is believed to have occurred between 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 24.

• A man, of Elburn, told police on Saturday, Sept. 21, that someone had taken 6 to 8 pumpkins from his personal garden. One of the pumpkins had been smashed. Police said a neighbor told them that loud noises had been heard near the property around 11 p.m. on Sept. 20.
