Where did you grow up? The Andersonville neighborhood in Chicago
Pets? A German shepherd named Ziggy, and two horses, Glory and Kolah, and a mini donkey named Stella
Who would play you in the movie of your life? Gwyneth Paltrow
First job? Driving a horse carriage at 18
As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? I always knew it would have to do with horses. That was my goal in life. When I was a kid, I drew stick figures of horses. I’m also an artist.
A book you’d recommend? “Water for Elephants” by Sara Gruen and the movie would be “Secondhand Lions”
Favorite charity? Zellmer Childhood Disease Foundation, the charity we’re working with for the carriage rides.
Favorite local restaurant? Michael Angelo’s Deli and Chianti’s in Geneva
What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I met Phyllis Diller at the Western Open.
