VIRGIL TOWNSHIP – Four people were hospitalized Monday following a two-car crash near the Fox Valley Wildlife Center, according to a report from the Kane County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the report, a 17-year-old girl from Elburn was driving a 2003 Ford Taurus west on Route 38 in Virgil Township at about 6 p.m. As she was turning left at 45W061 Route 38, she reportedly hit a 2001 Honda CR-V traveling east.
Both vehicles sustained front-end damage and were towed from the scene, according to the report.
The teen, the other driver – a 40-year-old man from St. Charles – and his two young passengers were taken to Delnor Hospital in Geneva for evaluation, according to the report.
The man was in stable condition Tuesday, hospital spokesman Chris King said. He said the other driver wasn’t listed with the hospital.
