Campton Hills police reports

• A heavy metal trailer hitch cover was reported stolen Monday, Oct. 14, from a vehicle in the 3N900 block of Ralph Waldo Emerson Lane, Campton Hills. Estimated loss was $40.

• About $5 in change was reported stolen Monday, Oct. 14, from an unlocked 2010 Chevrolet in the 3N800 block of South Bridle Creek Drive, Campton Hills.

• Three unlocked vehicles were reported burglarized Monday, Oct. 14, in the 3N700 block of Laura Ingalls Wilder Road, Campton Hills. About $30, a driver’s license and car key were stolen from a Mercedes, and a spare key, DVD player and I-Pass were stolen from a Lincoln. Nothing appeared stolen from the third vehicle, another Mercedes.

• A 2007 Volkswagen was reported vandalized Saturday, Oct. 12, in the 39W600 block of Henry David Thoreau Place, Campton Hills. All four tires were reportedly cut. Estimated loss was $350.
