GENEVA – Along with National  Breast Cancer Awareness Month, October is also National Adopt-A-Shelter-Dog Month.

To raise awareness, Eggar Insurance Agency will donate $20 to a local animal shelter this month for every insurance quote made when someone calls 630-225-9325.

In a news release, Eggar Insurance Agency’s Justin Eggar said,  “Not only is it important to rescue an animal that has been abandoned, but we can help local families find great animals that need equally great owners.”

When making a call, patrons should mention  support of local animal shelters and the Eggar Insurance Agency will make a donation in the caller’s name.

“Our clients that haven’t visited the office recently may not know that we have a new addition to the Eggar family,” said Eggar in the release, referring to his recently adopted shelter dog, Kylie.
