Geneva Garden Club bulb sale to benefit community

Through Dec. 9, the Geneva Garden Club is selling bulbs – Amaryllis and Paperwhites – that will be packaged for holiday gift-giving or using to beautify the home.

GENEVA – Through Dec. 9, the Geneva Garden Club is selling bulbs – Amaryllis and Paperwhites – that will be packaged for holiday gift-giving or using to beautify the home.

All proceeds will benefit the community through scholarships for higher education and beautification of parks and streets, as well as active support for the Geneva History Center, Geneva Park District, Geneva Public Library, Arbor Day and the Japanese Garden at Fabyan Forest Preserve, according to a news release. 

Amaryllis bulbs cost $15 each and Paperwhites are $10 for a bag of five. Each package comes with instructions on how to force.
