Members of the student council of Harrison Street Elementary School in Geneva collected more than 400 new toys for the Send A New Toy to Appalachia (S.A.N.T.A.) Project. The items, which included small non-electronic or battery operated toys, games, crayons, and books, were collected between October 14 and 23.
Pam Schutt, a boutique clothing stylist from the St. Charles Stein Mart, presented a fashion-forward clinic at Visiting Angels of South Elgin. Schutt offered tips and trends, showing the audience how to create a personalized wardrobe style for the season.
