St. Charles resident Michelle Whitacre, 47, was walking her dogs at the Fox River Bluff Forest Preserve in St. Charles Township when she answered 11 questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.  

Where did you grow up? Macon, Ga., and we moved to St. Charles when I was 10. 

Pets? Boxers, Lucy and Spike

First job? Lifeguard

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A doctor. I am a dental hygienist.
