Batavia police reports

• Juan Carlos Marin, 24, of the 100 block of East Brown Street, West Chicago, was charged Wednesday, Oct. 30, with delivery and possession of more than 30 grams of marijuana and improper lane use. According to police, Marin had 32 grams of marijuana in his possession.

• A window screen valued at $50 was reported taken Tuesday, Oct. 29, from the front door of a house in the 100 block of North Jackson Street.

• Sam Cinquegrani, 38, of the 1700 block of North 21st Avenue, Melrose Park, was charged Tuesday, Oct. 29, with aggravated driving under the influence, driving under the influence of drugs, driving with a suspended, revoked or canceled drivers license and improper lane use.

• Denisse Torres-Gallegos, 19, of the 2000 block of Lilac Lane, Aurora, was charged Tuesday, Oct. 29, with retail theft from Kohl’s, 251 N. Randall Road.

• Tyler J. Hummel, 20, of the 200 block of South Forest Avenue, Batavia, was cited for improper backing Monday, Oct. 28, after striking a parked vehicle and leaving the scene in the 600 block of Park Street.

• A juvenile was charged Sunday, Oct. 27, with two counts of domestic battery. According to police, the juvenile struck the victim in the face after fighting over a cellphone.

• David J. Randle, 50, who is homeless, on Sunday, Oct. 27, was banned from the Challenge Properties, 525 N. River St., Batavia.

• Someone reportedly threw eggs and potatoes at a trailer in the 1900 block of West Wilson Street; it was reported to police Saturday, Oct. 26.

• A North Aurora man on Saturday, Oct. 26, reported that an unknown white man in a blue hoodie shoved and punched him in the face while at a party in the 200 block of Aldrin Lane. The victim was bleeding from the nose, but refused medical treatment, reports state.

• Dennis R. Herren, of the 0-100 block of Jackson St., Batavia, was charged Friday, Oct. 25, with driving under the influence of alcohol, disobeying a stop sign, driving in the wrong lane, operating an uninsured vehicle and aggravated battery/resisting a police officer.

• Alensander S. Matlak, 18, of the 5700 block of West Giddings First, Chicago, was charged Wednesday, Oct. 23, retail theft from Radio Shack, 21 N. Randall Road.

• Tammy L. Martin, 43, of the 300 block of Brittany Court, Geneva, was charged Wednesday, Oct. 23, with retail theft from Kohl’s, 251 N. Randall Road.
