ST. CHARLES – Businesses and organizations wanting to participate in this month’s Electric Christmas Parade have until today to submit their entry forms, the Downtown St. Charles Partnership said in a news release.
The Electric Christmas Parade is set for 5:30 p.m. Nov. 30 in downtown St. Charles.
It is part of Holiday Homecoming, a two-day event that also features the Lighting of the Lights in the First Street Plaza, sleigh rides on First Street, visits with Santa Claus and showings of a holiday movie.
Businesses, nonprofits and other organizations wanting to enter the parade must complete the parade entry form and provide a certificate of insurance.
The application fee is $250 for businesses, $125 for Downtown St. Charles Partnership member businesses and complimentary for local nonprofits. Forms can be downloaded at www.downtownstcharles.org/holidays.

Parade lineup information will be sent by Nov. 22.
The partnership’s website also has volunteer forms for those wanting to serve as parade pacers, parade marshals and banner carriers.
