Preschool wins first in scarecrow contest

ST. CHARLES – For its second straight year, St. Patrick Catholic Preschool was awarded for its scarecrow display at the 28th annual Scarecrow Festival in St. Charles. 

The school took first place in the children’s category of the scarecrow contest for its “Bee Happy” display.
The bee-themed scarecrow was created by preschool students, teachers and volunteer parents. 

The winning scarecrow can be seen in front of the preschool, 118 N. 5th St., St. Charles.
