Winning $100,000 ticket sold at Batavia 7-Eleven

BATAVIA – No one has come forward to claim a $100,000 winning Lotto ticket that was sold at the 7-Eleven store on Fabyan Parkway in Batavia.

The person who purchased the winning ticket in Thursday's Lucky Day Lotto matched all five numbers on the ticket – 07-09-10-12-39. The ticket was purchased at the 7-Eleven store at 710 E. Fabyan Parkway.

A second winning ticket was sold at a Shell gas station in Romeoville. Those who matched four of the five numbers will receive $100.

The winner still has plenty of time to claim the winning ticket. Winning lottery tickets can be checked at the Illinois State Lottery's website, www.illinoislottery.com.

"The person has a year to claim it," Illinois Lottery spokesperson Chanele Newton said.

This isn't the first time that store has produced a winner. In March 2012, a Batavia resident came forward to claim a $3 million Lotto ticket that was sold at the store.

The winner had purchased the ticket on St. Patrick's Day.

"We might have a lucky store, I think," 7-Eleven sales associate Vigay Patel said.
Patel said he has no idea who purchased the ticket in Thursday's Lotto drawing.
