COACH OF THE YEAR
Maureen Weiler, Geneva

Geneva rallied from a third-place finish in the Upstate Eight Conference River Division to win the St. Charles East Sectional and send a trio of entries – two singles players and one doubles team – to the state tournament. “The girls really stepped it up for the season and they got better as the season went on each match along the way, which is what you hope for,” Weiler said. “And then you just hope it inspires them enough to play a little more before the beginning of the next season.”
