Letter: Lost economics

Published: Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013 5:30 a.m. CST

To the Editor:

Some people from Big Rock come up with the silliest ideas. (Response to letter published Nov. 2 in the Kane County Chronicle.)

Republicans, who are supposed to be the party of fiscal responsibility and want to condemn people from finally voting to end the shutdown, have chosen to ignore the fact that their fool-hardy act has cost us – according to some reports – $24 billion in lost economics.

I swear, the water must be bad in that town or something!
