Face Time with Ashley Pfeifer

St. Charles resident Ashley Pfeifer, 21, was shopping at the Mothers Club of Geneva Craft Show when she answered 10 questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.

Where did you grow up? St. Charles. I’ve lived in the same house since I was born.

Pets? A rescue lab-spaniel mix named Max

Who would play you in the movie of your life? Jennifer Aniston

First job? At the Kane County Flea Market at the stand where they have the roasted corn and the lemonade. I was the lemon shake-up girl.

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A teacher, but I did not become that. I will be a nurse in May. I work at Delnor now as a patient care tech, and I hope to work there when I graduate as a nurse.

A book you’d recommend? “Safe Haven” by Nicholas Sparks, and they made it into a movie. And the movie is good, too.

Favorite charity? The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

What game show would you be on? “The Price is Right” because I always watched it with my grandma.

Favorite local restaurant? California Pizza Kitchen in Geneva

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I won a national writing award for a piece I wrote for my high school paper.
