St. Charles resident Brandi Murphy, 27, was shopping at the Mothers Club of Geneva Craft Show when she answered nine questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.

Where did you grow up? St. Charles

Pets? Two cocker spaniels named Snickers and Molly

Who would play you in the movie of your life? Rachel McAdams

First job? Working at the Cougars Stadium

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A teacher, and I am a teacher. I’m subbing right now as a fourth-grade teacher at Anderson Elementary School in St. Charles.

A book you’d recommend? “Stranded” by Jeff Probst

Favorite charity? The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

Favorite local restaurant? Wok ‘n’ Fire in St. Charles

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I substitute teach at the same school I went to – Anderson Elementary School – and two of the teachers who are still there, I had in second grade and fifth grade.
