St. Charles police reports

• Dana Marie Shillington, 31, of the 800 block of Seacrest Lane, Bartlett, was charged Saturday, Nov. 16, with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use and driving without insurance after the 2006 Ford Mustang she was driving hit a building in the 200 block of Illinois Avenue, St. Charles.

• Prudencio Cortes-Ortiz, 46, of the 34W900 block of North James Drive, St. Charles, was charged Saturday, Nov. 16, with driving without a license and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident following a crash at Kirk Road and Fox Chase Drive in St. Charles.

• Nuri Jasarovski, 36, of the 1100 block of Cape Cod Lane, Pingree Grove, was arrested Saturday, Nov. 16, on a warrant.

• Three baseball fields at Davis Park, 811 Horne St., St. Charles, were reported damaged Friday, Nov. 15. The damage is believed to have been done by a truck or a large SUV. Damage was estimated at $2,000.

• Andrew Edward Hooper, 21, of the 100 block of Walnut Drive, St. Charles, was charged Thursday, Nov. 14, with domestic battery and aggravated assault.

• Francesco Anthony Donatone, 23, of the 29W400 block of Lee Road, West Chicago, was charged Sunday, Nov. 10, with obstructing police and public drunkenness.

• Sixto Jose Cortez, 19, of the 100 block of Oak Street, Elgin, was charged Tuesday, Nov. 12, with attempting to defraud a drug and alcohol screening test after reportedly taking toilet water for his sample at a screening facility in the 300 block of Randall Road, St. Charles.

• A man wearing a stocking cap and a blue and gray flannel jacket was reported seen Wednesday, Nov. 13, stealing a storm grate from the 3800 block of Ohio Avenue in St. Charles. He was reportedly driving a dark blue older extended cab truck. A storm grate at Ohio and 37th Avenue also was reported missing. The grates’ value was estimated at $167.

• Kevin Joseph Scott, 52, of the 2400 block of Fairfax Road, St. Charles, was charged Thursday, Nov. 14, with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood-alcohol content of more than 0.08 percent and speeding.
