Face Time with Meagan Provencher

Geneva resident Meagan Provencher, 41, was volunteering at the Mothers Club of Geneva Craft Show when she answered 9 questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.  

Where did you grow up? Burlington

Pets? A German shepherd named Raena.

First job? At the Hallmark store in the old St. Charles Mall.

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A biologist. I became a horticulturalist instead. I am the landscape designer for Wasco Nursery.  

A book you’d recommend? “The Husband’s Secret” by Liane Moriarty

Favorite charity? LivingWell Cancer Resource Center

What game show would you be on? “Wheel of Fortune”

Favorite local restaurant? El Molcajete in Geneva.

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I walked 60 miles in two Susan G. Komen three-day walks for breast cancer. My aunt is a breast cancer survivor.
