Police Reports

Elburn police reports

• Valley Liquors, 151 E. Route 38, Elburn, reported Tuesday, Nov. 12, that it had seized a fake ID. Police collected the item to send to the Illinois Secretary of State’s fraudulent review unit.

• Eugene P. Laski, 87, of the 300 block of Dempsey Street, Elburn, was cited Thursday, Nov. 14, with failing to yield when turning left and driving with a canceled license after a property-damage accident in the 600 block of East North Street, Elburn.

• Clerks at three Elburn businesses reportedly sold tobacco products to minors during a compliance check Thursday, Oct. 31. The clerks are expected in court at 9 a.m. Dec. 12: Eric Strasser, 31, of the 200 block of Nicole Drive, South Elgin; Victor S. Dhakhwa, 27, of the 300 block of Blackhawk Street, Aurora; and Yolanda Anderson, 42, of the 300 block of Read Street, Elburn. They worked at Walgreens, 1001 N. Main St.; BP Amoco, 940 N. Main St.; and Jewel Osco, 800 N. Main St., respectively.

• At about 1:25 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, an Elburn police sergeant saw that a fence belonging to 200 E. North St., Elburn, had blown over during that day’s storms and hit a police squad car at the Elburn Police Department, 301 E. North St. The vehicle’s right turn signal and bumper were reported damaged.
