Face Time with Chris Sikorski

South Elgin resident Chris Sikorski, 14, was volunteering at St. Mark’s Abundant Blessings Shop, Dine and Find at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in St. Charles when he answered nine questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.

Where did you grow up? Schererville, Ind.

Pets? A black cat named Spooky

Who would play you in the movie of your life? My best friend, Colin Kroc, who is in my class at Haines Middle School.

What do you want to be when you grow up? An NBA player

A book you’d recommend? “The Strange Case of Origami Yoda” by Tom Angleberger

What game show would you be on? “Wheel of Fortune”

Do you play an instrument? Trumpet. I’m fourth chair in band and jazz.

Favorite local restaurant? JuRin Japanese Restaurant in South Elgin and Geneva

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I am 25 percent Japanese.
