Letter: Joe Biden and the deli

To the Editor:

There was a fluff piece of news on recently about Joe Biden needing to borrow money to pay for sandwiches at a deli.

Joe bought lunch for a group of people that seemed to be for himself and staff. When told that the bill was more than he had in his wallet, he had to borrow money from one of his aides (more than one needed?).

To his credit, Joe did not take the deli’s offer to pay the difference. The news people said that Joe didn’t know how much the sandwiches were when he ordered them, and they laughed it off.

To my wife and me, that said a lot about the administration of this country. They see what they like, buy it and then borrow money to pay for it. It’s simply because they don’t know how much it costs before they buy it.

Hello, Obamacare! Hello, national debt!
