BATAVIA – Four Batavia firefighters were injured fighting a house fire Tuesday morning at 308 S. Harrison St.
Three of the firefighters were treated at the scene and one was treated at a local hospital and released, according to a release from the Batavia Fire Department.
All of the occupants in the home were able to get out. One of the occupants was treated at the scene for injuries.
The fire caused an estimated $175,000 in damages. When firefighters arrived at the scene at 5:47 a.m., the single-family home was fully engulfed, with fire on all three floors and through the roof.
Firefighters had the blaze under control at 6:30 a.m. The origin and cause of the fire is still under investigation.
