As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? Professional poker player. I became a nurse, and I will graduate as a family nurse practitioner on March 14. That is an advanced practice registered nurse who can write prescriptions.

A movie you’d recommend? “12 Years a Slave”

Favorite charity? Disabled American Veterans

What game show would you be on? “The Price is Right”

Favorite local restaurant? Golden Corral in Batavia

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? As a home health nurse, I met a man who served on the USS Indianapolis, and met two women baseball players who played during World War II like in the movie “A League of Their Own.”
