• A 12-by-6-foot soccer goal net was reported cut Tuesday, Dec. 10, in the backyard of a house on the 0S900 block of West Burnham Lane, Blackberry Township. The homeowner told police someone had also turned on the outdoor spigots causing ice dams on the side of the house.

• A resident of the 1S100 block of Theisen Trail, Geneva Township, reported identify theft Tuesday, Dec. 10. After attempting to refinance his house, the owner found out about two unpaid charges from Dish Network for $1,159 and AT&T for $172 that were under his name, but not set up by him. The Dish account was set up a year ago without his knowledge, according to sheriff’s reports.
