ST. CHARLES – This holiday season, Blue Goose Market will team up with Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Kane County, a nonprofit organization that advocates for the best interests of abused and neglected children within the Juvenile and Probate Court systems.
Through Saturday, Dec. 21, the Blue Goose, at 300 S. Second St., St. Charles, will donate a portion of its in-store sales to CASA, which reaches out to more than 28 communities in Kane County area. Blue Goose and CASA are inviting community and supporters to download “CASA-Blue Goose coupon” via CASA Kane County and Blue Goose Market Facebook pages – www.facebook.com/bluegoosemarket. All coupons will be accepted at each Blue Goose register upon checkout.
“One advantage to growing a business in the same neighborhood for over 80 years, is the partnerships we create and are able embrace every year,” said Paul Lencioni, president of Blue Goose Market. “The Goose feeds families and friends well all year, and we appreciate the opportunity to help a great organization that values the importance of all children and their well-being – especially this time of year.”
Along with coupons, Blue Goose and CASA encourage shoppers to help decorate “Goose Giving Trees.” These holiday trees will be available inside store premises and hang personalized name tree-shaped paper ornaments ($2 donation). Donation can, tree ornament and coupon proceeds will benefit CASA.
