ST CHARLES – Vero Voce will present its Holiday Concert at 6 p.m. Saturday at 951 State Ave., Suite F, St. Charles, featuring the staff and advanced students from its School of Performing Arts, including the Vero Voce Chorale.

Tickets are $15 a person and are available online at www.verovoce.com or by calling 630-584-0139.

Fresh arrangements of the season’s songs will be performed as solos, duets and trios with piano, guitar, flute and saxophone. Half of the ticket proceeds will be donated to a father and son in Carol Stream who are trying to raise money for two service dogs.

Christian Carlson, a disabled veteran who uses a wheelchair because of multiple sclerosis, needs a service dog to open doors, pick up objects and offer protection.

His son, Christian, 3, was diagnosed with diabetes just after his first birthday. A service dog for him would alert both Christian and his family to life-threatening blood sugar highs and lows. Information is available at https://sites.google.com/site/pleasehelpthestrong.

Vero Voce was established in 2001 specializing in private voice, piano lessons and musical theater coaching expanded into a 5,000-square-foot facility with multiple studios, classrooms, and a theater.
