Batavia author headed to Books Between Bites program

BATAVIA – Batavia author Annie Hansen today will discuss her book, “Give Me Chocolate,” at Batavia’s monthly noontime book program, Books Between Bites, according to a news release.

The free monthly book discussion series will be from noon to 1 p.m. at the Batavia Public Library, 10 S. Batavia Ave., Batavia. It is held in the large community room on the main level.

Parking is available in the lot just south and adjacent to the library.

“Give Me Chocolate” is Hansen’s first novel, and the first in her Kelly Clark mystery series. Books will be available for purchase and signing. Hansen was named the winner of the Helen McCloy Mystery Writers of America Scholarship in 2011 for her submission of “Give Me Chocolate.”

People are invited to bring their lunch and eat as they attend the program and discussion.

Lunch items, beverages and baked goods can be purchased at Chapters Coffeehouse & Café, located just inside the library and adjacent to the meeting room. To order for pickup just before the program, call 630-406-8005.
