Hotel Baker rolled out the red carpet for a slew of celebrities who attended Jenny McCarthy's "Dancing with the Stars" charity event to benefit the Bridges Montessori Academy of St. Charles on Aug. 24.

This was a year of great celebrity interest for the Tri-Cities area.

A Jenny McCarthy fundraiser in St. Charles featuring Hollywood stars ended with tickets for public intoxication when an after-party moved to a Geneva nightspot.

The town was all abuzz over the incident outside EvenFlow Music and Spirits, 302 W. State St., Geneva, in August, where celebrities gathered in the wee hours, then went outside to hail a cab.

At 5:45 a.m., drunk-in-public citations were issued to celebrities:

• Kelly M. Monaco, a reality TV star, winner of “Dancing With the Stars” during its first season and an actress on “General Hospital;

• Sergey A. Onik, an United States national dance champion, choreographer and instructor at L.A. Dance Events;

•  Heath J. Freeman, a movie and TV actor who was in “Skateland” and who played serial killer Howard Epps on the TV series “Bones;”

• Joanne C. McCarthy, Jenny McCarthy’s sister and a makeup artist.
