Elburn police reports

• Nicholas Stephen Floro, 23, of the 500 block of Covered Bridge Drive, Elgin, was charged Saturday, Nov. 23, with battery after pushing someone during an argument.

• Daniel J. Crum, 33, of West Lincoln Highway, DeKalb, was charged Thursday, Nov. 28, with driving while license suspended.

• Austin Thomas Dwiggins, 22, of Harter Road, Maple Park, was charged Thursday, Nov. 28, with driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating an uninsured vehicle, improper lane use, failure to dim headlights and possession of less than 2.5 grams of marijuana.

• Carlos F. Delatorre, no age available, of East Washington Street, West Chicago, was charged on Sunday, Dec. 8, with criminal damage to state-supported property after throwing a cordless GE 2.4 ghz phone owned by the police department on the floor and breaking it. Police were contacted by a cab driver who said Delatorre did not have money to pay for a cab ride. Delatorre ran away from police and was located hiding in some bushes, according to police. Delatorre was transported to the Elburn Police Station, where he was allowed to make a phone call using the cordless phone. Delatorre also was charged with theft of services for failing to pay $21.25 for a cab ride and was also arrested on a failure-to-appear warrant out of Chicago.
