First job? A caddy

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? I was always in the arts and that is what I became – I was a merchandizer for Crate and Barrel, choosing what the stores would carry.

A book you’d recommend? “The Feast Nearby: How I lost my job, buried a marriage, and found my way by keeping chickens, foraging, preserving, bartering, and eating locally (all on $40 a week)” by Robin Mather

Favorite charity? St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? My husband travels a lot for business, so I’ve lived in France and Germany and visited Israel, Australia, Belgium, Italy, Spain, England, Poland and the Czech Republic.
