For tonight, light snow is expected to spread into the area, with less than a half-inch of accumulation. Today's high is forecast to be 11 degrees, and the low will be 5, with a windchill of -5.
On Tuesday, New Year's Eve, snow is in the forecast, as well as more cold weather, with a high of 14 and a low of 10, with wind chills as low as -10. Snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches is expected on New Year's Eve.
Also, snow is likely on Wednesday, New Year's Day, with a 70 percent chance of precipitation. Snow also is likely on Thursday, which will be colder – with a forecast high of 16 and a low of -8.
