Where did you grow up? Aurora

First job? Scooping ice cream at Oberweis’ first store

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A mom, a secretary and a business owner. I became all three and still am all three. I have been an Avon representative for 20 years.

A book you’d recommend? “The Forgotten Garden,” by Kate Morton

Favorite charity? Mutual Ground

Do you speak another language? Spanish

What game show would you be on? “Supermarket Sweep”

Favorite local restaurant? Zaza’s in St. Charles

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? Three years ago, I rescued a Canada goose that was all tied up in fishing line.
