St. Charles police reports

• Kathleen Elizabeth Knifong, 19, of the 600 block of Jackson Avenue, St. Charles, was charged Thursday, Jan. 9, with felony retail theft for reportedly stealing two designer wallets with a total value of $290 and a $78 necklace from Von Maur, 3810 E. Main St., St. Charles.

• Helen Marie Oltz, 49, of the 2200 block of Vanderbilt Drive, Geneva, was charged Thursday, Jan. 9, with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane use.

• Dayra Selena Espinoza, 18, of the 1000 block of Elizabeth Street, West Chicago, was charged Thursday, Jan. 9, with retail theft for reportedly stealing $94.19 in various merchandise from Walmart, 150 Smith Road, St. Charles.

• Kevin M. Kuntz, 20, of the 3100 block of Wagner Court, Aurora, was charged Thursday, Jan. 9, with producing false identification. He reportedly tried to use a fake ID – which he purchased online for $100 – at St. Charles Bowl, 2520 W. Main St., St. Charles.

• Alexander Daniel Schwartz, 20, of the 800 block of North LaSalle Drive, Chicago, was charged Friday, Jan. 10, with retail theft for reportedly stealing from Super Target, 3885 E. Main St., St. Charles.

• Robert Young Brown, 25, of the 500 block of South Knoblock Street, Stillwater, Okla., was charged Friday, Jan. 10, with public urination.

• Alex Lombardo Valenzuela, 26, of the 4900 block of North Avers Avenue, Chicago, was charged Saturday, Jan. 11, with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood-alcohol content of more than 0.08 percent, disobeying a traffic control device and speeding. He was reportedly going 63 mph in a 45 mph zone on Randall Road and ran a red light at Route 38, where he braked hard to miss hitting a westbound vehicle.

• Jevonshe Temar Purdis, 22, of the 1300 block of West Main Street, St. Charles, was charged Saturday, Jan. 11, with retail theft for reportedly stealing a $19.99 flannel shirt from Kohl’s, 3840 E. Main St., St. Charles.

• Ryan Patrick Schreiber, 24, of the 1600 block of Brightwood Place, Aurora, was charged Sunday, Jan. 12, with possession of marijuana and driving with one headlight.
