All Chocolate Kitchen chef to give chocolate lecture, tasting

Chocolatier Kevin Roblee will visit the St. Charles Public Library for “Chocolate 101” on Feb. 6.

ST. CHARLES – Chocolatier Kevin Roblee will visit the St. Charles Public Library for “Chocolate 101.” Roblee will discuss the flavors and nuances of chocolate from around the world at noon Thursday, Feb. 6.

For nine years, Roblee traveled around the world taking on roles in chocolate product development, production and quality. He spent a year in Scandinavia studying the production methods and practices of European chocolate. Working at the oldest operating chocolate plant in the country, Roblee helped to create organic chocolate, states a news release.

Chocolate samples will be available to taste. Registration is required for the event. To register, call 630-584-0076, ext. 1, or visit www.stcharleslibrary.org.

The St. Charles Public Library is located at One S. Sixth Ave. in St. Charles.
