Face Time with Susan Jensen

Geneva resident Susan Jensen was at Peck Farm Park in Geneva when she answered nine questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.  

Where did you grow up? Denver

Who would play you in the movie of your life? Meryl Streep

First job? Baby-sitting

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A teacher, and I became one. I taught at a Jewish preschool in Naperville, and I was director of preschool at Congregation Beth Shalom.

A movie you’d recommend? “Australia”

Favorite charity? K-9 Comfort Dog, through Lutheran Church Charities Lombard and TLC Camp, for children with cancer and a sibling.

What game show would you be on? “Password”

Favorite local restaurant? Graham’s 318 in Geneva

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I bumped into Julia Child in a bathroom in Santa Monica, Calif.
