Elmwood Park resident Sharita Alexander, 28, was at Batavia 3rd Ward Alderman Dan Chanzit’s house for a potluck supper when she answered nine questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.  

Where did you grow up? Chicago

Pets? A poodle named Honest

Who would play you in the movie of your life? Angelina Jolie

First job? Folding clothes at the University of Illinois-Chicago thrift shop when I was 16

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to play basketball. I’m a caseworker for the Illinois Department of Human Services.

A book you’d recommend? “Oh! The Places You’ll Go!” by Dr. Seuss and “All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten” by Robert Fulghum

Favorite charity? American Red Cross

What game show would you be on? “Deal or No Deal”

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I am a twin and am 30 minutes older than my sister. We are fraternal, but we look identical.
