Face Time with Kathryn Jones

Chicago resident Kathryn Jones, 30, was shopping at a military history fest in St. Charles when she answered 10 questions for the Kane County Chronicle's Brenda Schory.

Where did you grow up? Chicago

Who would play you in the movie of your life? Me. I would totally play me.

First job? At a custom jewelry store.

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to raise horses and sing. I am an administrative assistant at an intellectual property law firm.

A book you'd recommend? The Leviathan trilogy by Scott Westerfeld.

Do you plan an instrument? I sing.

What game show would you be on? "Jeopardy"

Favorite local restaurant? Chili's in St. Charles

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I auditioned at the Guilde of St. George, I sang and did a monologue, and I was chosen. I portray Mistress Thomasina de Paris at the Bristol Renaissance Faire.

Who is this person? She was gifted to Queen Elizabeth I. Dwarves were considered good luck. She had four of them. I have been portraying Thomasina for 11 years.
