Face Time with Jackie Mikan

Morris resident Jackie Mikan, 25, was working at Great Clips in Sugar Grove when she answered nine questions from the Kane County Chronicle's Al Lagattolla.

Where did you grow up? Romeoville.

Do you have any pets? Two cats, Ashlee and Penny, both girls.

What was your first job? I worked at a pizza place in Romeoville.

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? I always wanted to be a hair stylist, and I'm currently a hair stylist and a salon manager.

Is there a book you would recommend? I really like the "Fifty Shades" series.

Do you have a favorite charity? Ronald McDonald House.

What is the best part of your job? Just seeing those faces come back for their haircuts and knowing we made their day by giving them a great haircut.

Have you worked with the company a long time? I've worked with Great Clips for eight years.

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I am just a caring person, and I would do anything for anybody.
