Face Time with Tanner Conroyd

St. Charles resident Tanner Conroyd, 21, was at the St. Charles Public Library when she answered 10 questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.  

Where did you grow up? St. Charles, graduated from St. Charles North, class of 2010

Who would play you in the movie of your life? Maureen O’Hara

First job? Baby-sitting and pet-sitting

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A marine biologist. I’m in school now and not quite sure.

A book you’d recommend? “The Shadow of the Wind” by Carlos Ruiz Zafón

Favorite charity? Humane Society of the United States

What game show would you be on? “Hollywood Game Night”

Do you play an instrument? The flute

Favorite local restaurant? Portillo’s in St. Charles

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I won several young authors contests in grade school for books I wrote and illustrated about dolphins and talking bears.
