Face Time with Patrick Berggren
Geneva resident Patrick Berggren, 46, was at the St. Charles Library when he answered eight questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.
Where did you grow up? Oak Park
Pets? Lots of fish, a six-toed, web-footed Australian shepherd mix named Mocha, a snake named Charlie, a sugar glider named Kumquat and a cat named Lilly.
First job? Shoveling walks
As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A senator. I became a commercial real estate agent.
A book you’d recommend? “The Satires of Juvenal,” written in the late first and early second centuries
What game show would you be on? “Jeopardy”
Favorite local restaurant? EvenFlow Music and Spirits in Geneva
What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I met Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page and Bad Company singer Paul Rodgers when they were with The Firm, and I once worked as a jungle cruise skipper at Walt Disney World in Florida.
