St. Charles resident Bob Nelson, 36, was at the St. Charles Library with 5-year-old twin daughters Ruby and Charlotte when he answered 11 questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.

Where did you grow up? Idaho, Wyoming, Utah and Nevada.

Who would play you in the movie of your life? Keanu Reeves.

First job? Assistant in a mechanics shop.

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? An artist, and I became an artist.

A book you’d recommend? “Paddle Your Own Canoe: One Man’s Fundamentals for Delicious Living” by Nick Offerman.

Favorite charity? I donate blood.

What game show would you be on? “Jeopardy.”

Do you speak another language? Portuguese.

Do you play an instrument? I’m trying to learn the banjo.

Favorite local restaurant? Lumes Pancake House in Batavia.

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I met Tim Conway. I worked at a place that did websites and promotions, and we met with him as a client.
