Face Time with Susan Fandel

Geneva resident Susan Fandel, 41, was at the Geneva Women’s Club’s Little Black Dress Celebration when she answered 10 questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.  

Where did you grow up? Waterbury, Conn.

Pets? Two dogs, Baxter, a mutt, and Maggie, a basset hound

Who would play you in the movie of your life? Jennifer Grey

First job? Baby-sitting

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A marine biologist. I was a reporter for a group of community newspapers in Connecticut, but now I do marketing.

A movie you’d recommend? “The Notebook”

Favorite charity? Geneva Women’s Club

What game show would you be on? “Jeopardy”

Favorite local restaurant? Preservation Bread and Wine in Geneva

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? When he first met me, my husband said he was going to marry me. I was 19. I started laughing.
