Dugan Road rail crossing reduced to one lane

SUGAR GROVE – An area of Dugan Road in Sugar Grove near the railroad crossing is temporarily closed to traffic. According to a news release from the village of Sugar Grove, officials were notified that the closure is necessary to allow for emergency repairs to be performed on the railroad tracks.

Officials said the repair is expected to be completed today.

Earlier, the village sent an advisory that traffic would be reduced to one lane. Then, in the afternoon, there was an update that the crossing would be closed until repairs were made.
