Geneva resident Rhonda Simner, 35, was at the Geneva Women’s Club’s Little Black Dress Celebration when she answered 12 questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.  

Where did you grow up? Grosse Pointe, Mich. 

Pets? A Boston terrier named Juno

Who would play you in the movie of your life? Chelsea Handler

First job? Retail at Jacobson’s Department Store

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A physician. I worked as a health care administrator, and then I became a mom.

A book you’d recommend? “The Hunger Games” by Suzanne Collins

Favorite charity? American Red Cross and SANTA – Send A New Toy to Appalachia

What game show would you be on? “The Price is Right”

Do you speak another language? Latin

Do you play an instrument? Piano

Favorite local restaurant? Niche in Geneva

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I am learning how to go on pointe in ballet at the Geneva Park District.
