Police Reports

Batavia police reports

• A vehicle parked at 1187 W. Wilson St., Batavia, was reported spray painted Wednesday, March 5, causing an estimated $500 in damage.

• Two juveniles were charged Wednesday, March 5, with retail theft from Kohl’s, 251 N. Randall Road.

• An aluminum mailbox in the 700 block of Papermill Hill Drive was knocked or twisted off its support pole sometime between Sunday, March 2, and Monday, March 3, causing an estimated $20 in damage.

• A mailbox and its post in the 600 block of Winnebago Trail was reported damaged Monday, March 3, causing an estimated $200 in damage.

• Two pieces of plastic trim molding valued at $400 were reported missing Monday, March 3, from a vehicle parked at 496 S. River St. The incident occurred Wednesday, Feb. 26.

• Hew A. Saber, 28, of the 600 block of Paddock Lane, Batavia, was charged Monday, March 3, with retail theft from Kohl’s, 251 N. Randall Road.

• Brandon C. Salter, 38, of the 200 block of Sauk Drive, Batavia, was charged Tuesday, March 4, with domestic battery and interference with reporting domestic violence.

• Julian A. Sosa, 19, of the 600 block of North Washington Ave., Batavia, was charged Saturday, March 1, for consumption of alcohol by a minor and driving while license suspended.

• Edward R. Arbet, 54, of the 600 block of North Prairie Street, Batavia, was charged Saturday, March 1, with disorderly conduct.
