Goldman, 39, of the 300 block of South Batavia Avenue, Batavia, was arrested Friday, Feb. 28, on a Kendall County warrant for a charge of violating an order of protection, and he was also charged with possession of marijuana. Police reportedly went to his address to serve an order of protection.

• A 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt was reportedly damaged Thursday, Jan. 9, while parked near Whispering Trail and Windsor Drive in St. Charles Township. The owner told police he reported the accident nearly two months later because the Kane County Sheriff’s Office was “extremely busy” the day it happened.

• A resident of the 5N300 block of Paddock Lane, St. Charles, reported Friday, March 7, that she hadn’t filed her tax return, but the Internal Revenue Service had received one with her information.

• Snowmobiles reportedly rode onto the Glenwood School property, 41W400 Silver Glen Road, St. Charles, overnight between Tuesday, March 4, and Wednesday, March 5. Nothing was damaged, but the vehicles were coming close to the residence cottages. The complainant told police he wanted to make a report in case someone gets hurt in the future.
